We have identified and assessed the environmental impacts resulting from all of our operating processes. Based on these, we have set environmental targets and goals for our environmental work with the main objective of reducing the environmental load. Enforceable and continuous quality improvement measures aim at a cost-effective prevention of environmental damage. Predetermined instructions guide management procedures for any other abnormal situations.
In all our operations, we are committed to complying with environmental laws and regulations as well as other governmental regulations. We choose more environmentally friendly chemicals and materials in our production process, and we reuse or recycle any waste material generated.
In close collaboration with customers and partners, we develop our production processes and product manufacturability. By creating an effective dialog between production and product development, we can influence the selection of pro-environment materials.
We have chosen to invest in high-quality, modern technology for all of our production equipment in order to minimize the environmental load as well as to use energy and process raw materials in a sustainable and cost-efficent manner.
We educate our staff to act responsibly when it comes to the environment, security and job safety. Each employee is responsible for his or her own contributions to the company’s environmental goals and obligation fulfillment. Each one must act decisively to protect the environment.
The company regularly monitors and reviews the quality of its activities and its impact on the environment. We inform stakeholders and personnel about our environmental policies and their development through internal communications, customer meetings and the company website.

Darekon recycles any metal or electronics scrap that has been generated in the production process.
Hazardous waste
Any hazardous waste originating from production is sent to EKOKEM for reprocessing.
Production and auxiliary processes

We use chemicals and materials with the lowest possible load on the environment. We reuse or recycle any waste materials that originate from our production. Our production’s washing processes are all closed systems, free of chemicals, for a low environmental impact.
